EEIAC Launches Web Site
Dallas, 26 January 2006 – The Exhibition and Event Industry Audit
Commission (EEIAC) has launched its new Web site at
www.exhibitionaudits.org, fully loaded with information regarding
attendance audit certification and becoming EEIAC certified.
The user-friendly site provides in-depth information including the
purpose and benefits of event attendance audits, audit standards for
trade and consumer shows, rules for event organizers and certified
auditors, and the application process. The site also includes details
about the EEIAC, its members and procedures.
“The new EEIAC site is a great step toward communicating our objectives
and our role in the industry,” comments EEIAC Chairman David Korse.
“Through the site, we plan on making accurate and up-to-date information
as accessible as possible to all interested parties. An important
feature of the site is a listing of the events that have actually been
audited to EEIAC standards thereby providing a useful tool for
exhibitors wishing to know which events have met their auditing
criteria.”
Visit the site at www.exhibitionaudits.org for complete details.
About EEIAC
The Exhibition and Event Industry Audit Commission (EEIAC) is a not for
profit Texas corporation organized in 2005 for the purpose of managing
and overseeing the exhibition industry's independent audit processes.
The EEIAC is managed by a Board of Commissioners, the majority of whom
represent exhibiting organizations and which also includes
representatives of advertising agencies and exhibition organizers. EEIAC
has promulgated and published two separate Standards for the Performance
of independent audits. Among its other responsibilities, EEIAC also
establishes Rules and Regulations for the certification of audit
providers who wish to use the EEIAC registered service mark. EEIAC's
mission is to promote the use of independent audits in order to provide
exhibiting companies with greater transparency about the quantity and
quality of attendance at trade shows in North America. In order to use
the EEIAC service mark an exhibition must participate in annual
attendance audits that are conducted according to EEIAC standards. For
more information, please go to www.exhibitionaudits.org.
